Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) unloaded on Repetition. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), chairman of the home Democrats, for claiming on Tuesday he and Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) were “behaving like human traffickers.”
Jeffries’ remarks came after DeSantis ignited a nationwide media firestorm a week ago as he sent 50 illegal immigrants to Martha’s Winery, a wealthy liberal enclave from the coast of Massachusetts.
“The behavior of people like Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott is radical, reckless, regressive and reprehensible,” Jeffries claimed throughout a press conference. “They should start behaving like governors and prevent behaving like human traffickers. They’re putting politics over individuals probably the most egregious possible way.”
DeSantis fired back throughout a press conference Tuesday mid-day, saying, “When Biden is flying these folks all around the fruited plain in the center of the night time, I did not hear a peep from individuals people.”
