“Crew,” starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, emerged as a box office hit under director Rajesh Krishnan’s helm. Crossing the Rs 100 crore mark, it entertained audiences well. The film also featured Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, and others in key roles. Trupti Khamkar played S.I. Mala, adding comedic flair to the storyline as she pursued three smugglers. In a recent chat with BollywoodLife, Trupti Khamkar shared her experience working on “Crew.” Here are some highlights from her interview.
Trupti Khamkar had significant scenes with Diljit Dosanjh. When asked about her experience working with him and if he’s relaxed on set, she said, “Working with Diljit was a dream come true. I’d love to work with him again and again. He’s one of the most peaceful, divine energies I’ve ever encountered. He’s not just a fantastic actor but also a wonderful human being.”
Talking about working with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, Trupti Khamkar said, “It was a beautiful experience, just like them. It felt like attending a school where I learned acting nuances from Tabu, witnessed glamour with Kareena Kapoor, and saw Kriti’s hard work. I feel blessed to have worked alongside them.”
Has Trupti Khamkar’s role in “Crew” led to new projects? She expressed, “I’d love to work on amazing projects with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar, Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, and many more… But nothing has happened yet!”
