The Center on Monday issued a new advisory to all states and union territories to tackle the epidemic situation amid a sudden surge in cases of coronavirus in the country and a growing threat of new variant omicron.
The Center has asked the States and Union Territories not to be discouraged, but to continue focusing on the five strategies of Test-Track-Treat-Vaccination and adherence to appropriate COVID-19 practices to avoid additional potential in COVID-19. He asked the states and union territories to abide by the Home Ministry order issued on December 21 to ensure the implementation of the measures prescribed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Bhalla said the December 21 Ministry of Health advisory provides a standard framework and more precautionary, data analysis, dynamic decisions at the local and district levels. The Home Secretary said that on December 23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the condition of Covid-19, Omicron, and preparations for health systems across the country. “He said, “I urge you to issue necessary instructions to the districts and all other concerned local authorities to take necessary steps for the speedy and effective operation of Kovid-19, a new type has been issued by the Ministry of Health.
