Beyonce is nominated for the song ‘Be Alive’ from King Richard and will perform this song at the awards along with her co-writer, Dixson. The viewers will see Beyonce performing live after whole two years. It was in the year 2017 when she last gave a live performance at the Grammy Awards where she sang ‘Sandcastles’ and ‘LoveDrought’ from her album named ‘Lemonade.’
It was on three previous Oscar occasions, where Beyonce has performed till now. It was in 2005 when she sang 3 of the 5 best-nominated songs. Furthermore, the tremendously remarkable artist performed in the year 2007and 2009.
Next up we have is Billie and her brother who will be performing ‘No Time To Die’ from the bond film. Interestingly, ‘No time to die’ has already been doing great as it has won some good number of Awards this season, including the Critics Choice Award and the Golden Globe Award. Not only this, the song has appreciatively grabbed the Grammys Award the previous year.
Sebastian Yatra will be performing ‘Dos Oruguitas’ from the Disney movie named, ‘Encanto.’ It is Linmanuel Miranda’s music and the lyrics too are written by him. The talented man has been nominated for the second time after his song ‘How far I’ll go’ from Moana in 2017. Interestingly, this will be Sebastian’s first-ever live performance on the Oscar Awards Telecast, whereas, the othersare undoubtedly the Oscar show masters.
‘Somehow you’ll do’ will be sung by Reba Mcentire from the Drama named, ‘Four good days.’ The song is starring Mila kunis and Glenn Close. Dianne Warren has written and composed this beautiful song. This is his 13th nomination for the best original song at the Academy Awards this year.
Lastly, the fifth song being nominated for the best original song category is ‘Down to Joy’ from Belfast. It is composed and written by Van Morrison. Well, this could be quite a saddening piece of information for his fans, that due to his rigorous tour schedule, the man won’t be able to make it to the event and perform at the Oscars this year.
“Van Morrison was invited to perform his nominated song but will not attend the Awards due to his tour schedule, therefore ‘Down to Joy’ will not be performed on the broadcast.”Says a source from the Academy.
Earlier, it was also said that one more song from ‘Encanto’, ‘We don’t talk about Bruno’ which was not even submitted for Oscar nomination will, however, for the very first time, be performed live in the event.

The assembly supervising the Oscars is trying its best to make the event accessible to individuals who are deaf and are hearing-impaired. ASL, that is, the American Sign Language provided by certified and expert deaf interpreters along with the Audio description will be conveniently available throughout the entire live broadcast.
